Research Theme

Characterization of animal models for bipolar disorder

Chercheur responsable:

LEBOYER Marion

Dates:

1 September 2016 - 30 June 2017

Date limite de candidature:

1 April 2016

Lab Rotation:

~ Sep-Dec 2016 ~ Jan-March 2017 ~ Apr-June 2017

Project:

We recently identified mutated genes in patients with bipolar disorder. These mutations have showed functional consequence in vitro and preliminary studies on animal model showed behavioral features in mutant animals. During this project, the student will have to behaviorally, anatomically and physiologically characterize mutant mice for this gene associated with bipolar disorders.
